The third edition of CICELI will take place in Valencia between 14th and 16th July 2022 and the deadline for receipt of proposals is 8th March.
From the Chair for Cooperation and Sustainable Development of the Universitat de València, we do our bit in the arduous task of studying and making visible the creativity of women in formal, non-formal and informal education by sponsoring the third edition of the International Congress "Creators in Literary and Intercultural Education".
With this third edition of CICELI we consolidate the focus on the study of poets, playwrights and storytellers whose work is included or can be included in the curricula of schools, colleges and universities, both in literary subjects and in other subjects where reading is a cross-cutting theme.
The deadline for submitting your proposals is 8th March 2022, and you can do so using the form at ciceli.es/participacion.
The full texts will be published in journals such as Journal of Literary Education, Clepsydra: Revista Internacional de Estudios de Género y Teoría Feminista or Ogigia Revista Electrónica de Estudios Hispánicos.
In addition, those who send their proposal will receive an invitation to contribute a chapter in the book "Mediterranean Women Creators of all times", subsidised by the Chair for Cooperation and Sustainable Development of the Universitat de València and in collaboration with the Plataforma de Escritoras del Arco Mediterráneo (Platform of Women Writers of the Mediterranean Arc).
During the same week as our III CICELI, another conference on intercultural education is being held at the Faculty of Teacher Training, so those of you from abroad have a couple of reasons to visit Valencia.
