Submission of admission applications:
- Ordinary phase: from 5 May 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (mainland Spain time) to 23 June at 2:00 p.m. (mainland Spain time).
- Extraordinary phase: from 13 October at 10:00 a.m. (mainland Spain time) to 19 October at 2:00 p.m. (mainland Spain time).

IMPORTANT: Applicants may modify the order of the programmes and change doctoral programmes until 23 June at 2:00 p.m. by accessing the form and making the corresponding changes.

NOTE 2: Applicants may request a pre-admission letter by submitting a request through TiquetingUV, indicating their first name, surname, ID/Passport number, and application details.
NOTE: For students of the UV, it is not necessary to attach the ID, university degrees, or certificates.
The documentation must be submitted electronically together with the pre‑enrolment application, following the instructions below. All documents must be scanned and uploaded as a single file within each section.
Documentation required from all applicants
- Identity document.
- Motivation letter.
- Endorsement from the researcher proposed as potential supervisor.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Research proposal.
- Proof of language proficiency.
- Proof of professional experience and/or scholarships.
- Disability certificate, where applicable.

Additional documentation according to the mode of access to doctoral studies
Depending on the qualification used for admission to doctoral studies, applicants must attach the following additional documentation:
A. Applicants accessing with a Spanish university degree:
- Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees (or equivalent) certifying 300 ECTS credits:
- Official Master’s degree certificate.
- Official academic transcript of the Master’s degree (grades/marks).
- Official Bachelor’s degree certificate.
- Official academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree (grades/marks).
- Qualification certifying 300 ECTS credits and MECES level 3:
- Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent.
- Official academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent (grades/marks).
- Degree plus two years of training to obtain Health Sciences specialisations:
- University degree certificate.
- Official academic transcript (grades/marks).
- Specialist qualification or certificate accrediting completion of the two years of training.
B. Applicants accessing with a foreign degree (see section “Information for Foreign Degrees”):
- From an EHEA country certifying MECES level 7 and granting access to doctoral studies:
- Master’s degree or equivalent, with official translation where applicable.
- Official academic transcript of the Master’s degree or equivalent (grades/marks), with official translation where applicable.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the qualifying degree.
- Documentary evidence that the degree qualifies the holder for access to doctoral studies in the country of issue, with official translation where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent, with official translation where applicable.
- Official academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent (grades/marks), with official translation where applicable.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent.
- From a non‑EHEA country equivalent to a Master’s degree and granting access to doctoral studies:
- Master’s degree or equivalent, with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Official academic transcript of the Master’s degree or equivalent (grades/marks), with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Documentary evidence that the degree qualifies the holder for access to doctoral studies in the country of issue, with official translation where applicable. Please see here.
- Favourable decision granting access to doctoral studies issued by a Spanish university.
- Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent, with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Official academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent (grades/marks), with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent.
- Degrees officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education:
- Master’s degree or equivalent, with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Official academic transcript of the Master’s degree or equivalent (grades/marks), with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Official recognition credential (homologación) of the foreign Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent, with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Official academic transcript of the Bachelor’s degree (grades/marks), formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent, with official translation where applicable, and legalisation or apostille.
- Conversion of grades to the 10‑point grading scale for the foreign Bachelor’s degree, formerly Licenciatura in Spain or equivalent.
C. Applicants accessing with another Doctoral degree:
- If the degree is Spanish or from an EHEA country, applicants must submit the doctoral degree certificate.
- If the degree is from a non‑EHEA country, applicants must submit an officially recognised doctoral degree certificate.
- If the degree is from a non‑EHEA country and has not been officially recognised, applicants may submit a favourable equivalence decision issued by a Spanish university or request an equivalence assessment within the admission application form.
- Ordinary phase: Admission results will be notified to applicants electronically on 17 September 2026.
- Extraordinary phase: Admission results will be notified to applicants electronically on 10 November 2026.
- Ordinary phase: Appeals against the admission results (specifically against the scoring) may be submitted through the Electronic Office during 17, 18, and 19 September 2026.
- Extraordinary phase: Appeals against the admission results (specifically against the scoring) may be submitted through the Electronic Office during 11 and 12 November 2026.
