Enrolment enquiry:
You can consult a summary of your enrolment through the Universitat de València Services Portal. Access path: Student > Enrolment > Enrolment summary

Bridging courses: Only students who have been notified that their admission is conditional upon completing bridging courses must select subjects.
Enrolment fees: The fees must be paid when completing the enrolment process. You can consult the payment methods and deadlines: Payment methods and deadlines 2026–2027.

Exemptions: Students must indicate the corresponding exemption on the form. Its validity will be verified electronically; if it cannot be validated, students must submit the required documentation through the Student Portal > Documentation.

Second and subsequent enrollments: renewal

IMPORTANT: The payment method is not carried over from the previous academic year. Therefore, tuition fees will, by default, be paid by bank card in a single payment. If you wish to change the payment method or the payment schedule, you must do so between 5 and 9 October 2026. No changes may be made after this period has ended.

Schedule: Enrolment renewal will be processed automatically by the Doctoral School on 1 October 2026. Students will be notified by email at the address registered in RAPID.

Tuition fees: These must be paid by credit card in a single payment. To change the payment method or payment schedule, please consult the relevant information here.

Updating your information:
Students may update their personal details between 5 and 9 October 2026 through the University of Valencia Services Portal. Access path: Student > Enrolment.

The following changes may be made:

• Update your postal address.
• Modify your contact telephone number.
• Change the payment method and the number of instalments. Payment methods and deadlines for the 2026–2027 academic year.
• Add or update fee exemptions or discounts, provided they are valid as of 9 October 2026.

NOTE: The Doctoral School will automatically apply the exemption from the 2026/2027 academic year's academic supervision fee to doctoral candidates holding a predoctoral contract who are entitled to this exemption.

Non-renewal of enrollment situations

1. Temporary Interruption (Temporary Leave) for a Full Academic Year

Applications for a temporary interruption covering one full academic year may be submitted until 31 January 2027. The following conditions will apply depending on the date of submission:

a) Applications submitted by 31 December 2026

  • Enrolment for the 2026/2027 academic year will not be renewed.
  • If the enrolment fees have already been paid, the student will be entitled to a refund.

b) Applications submitted between 1 and 31 January 2027

  • No refund of the enrolment fees paid will be granted or, if the enrolment has already been renewed, it will be cancelled.
  • In order to process the application, all enrolment fees for the 2026/2027 academic year must have been paid in full in advance.

2. Applications for Temporary Interruption (Temporary Leave) for a Period Shorter than One Academic Year

Applications for a temporary interruption for a minimum period of three months and a maximum of nine months may be submitted until 30 June 2027.

These applications:

  • Do not entitle the applicant to a refund of the enrolment fees.
  • Require full payment in advance of the enrolment fees for the 2026/2027 academic year.

3. Doctoral Thesis Submission

Thesis submitted by 30 September 2026

Doctoral candidates who submit their doctoral thesis deposit application through the ENTREU platform by 30 September 2026 will not have their enrolment renewed for the 2026/2027 academic year. If the enrolment has already been renewed, once it has been confirmed that the thesis was deposited within the established deadline, the renewal of enrolment will be cancelled.

Thesis submitted from 1 October 2026 onwards

Submitting the doctoral thesis deposit application on or after 1 October 2026 will automatically trigger the renewal of enrolment, and the corresponding enrolment fees for the 2026/2027 academic year must be paid.

4. End of the Maximum Period of Enrolment

Enrolment will not be renewed for doctoral candidates who have reached the maximum period of enrolment established for submitting their doctoral thesis and whose permitted enrolment period has therefore expired.

Withdrawal and discontinuation of studies

Permanent Withdrawal:

If you decide to withdraw from or discontinue your doctoral studies, and in order to prevent the automatic renewal of your enrolment, you must submit the Permanent Withdrawal form to the Doctoral School exclusively through the University of Valencia's Electronic Office (Seu Electrònica) and, within it, via the Electronic Registry.

The application for permanent withdrawal must be submitted before 1 October 2026. Otherwise, your enrolment will be renewed automatically, and the regulations in force regarding the refund of enrolment fees will apply.

All communications sent by the Doctoral School to doctoral candidates will be addressed to the institutional email account recorded in RAPID.
