New student cards or the replacement of damaged or lost cards will become virtual only.

The virtual card is accessible from:

  cuentas.uv.es ('see my university card')
  Virtual Secretary (General menu, 'Consulta Tarjeta')

Through these three channels, the virtual card can be used for the loan of books to the library, or access to shifts in the Sports Service through the barcode on the back.

Procedure for generating a virtual card for the first time for students who do not have one:
They will have to upload their photograph by accessing the 'Upload Photograph' option from the Virtual Secretary student menu.
From this moment, the virtual card will be available.

IMPORTANT: Not having a photograph in the virtual secretariat prevents having a virtual card.
In the case of students who have a physical card and wish to change their photograph for the card
virtual (it will no longer be issued physical), the current procedure is maintained: A ticket must be sent to the Student Support of the Doctoral School.
