The Student Council (AGE) is the upper organ of student representation in Universitat de València. Formed by the Student Senate and representation from each centre selected by the Centres Representatives Council (ADR). According to UV Statutes article 178, the main functions of AGE are:

• Gathering students ideas and proposals.
• Agreeing and proposing meassures to improve the defense of rights and interests of students.
• Participating in committees for distribution of scholarships and grants.
