Escola Europea de Pensament Lluís Vives (EEPLV) is born aiming to become a centre for reflection and open participative critic debate on current global and Valencian society matters.
The overloaded daily life ofently makes us unaware of the large scale social problems and the difficulties of arguement share, contrast and public valuation of proposals. At the same time, cultural trends and short-term political agendas hide the most rellevant contributions.
Escola Europea de Pensament Lluís Vives is a Universitat de València project of the Vice-Principal Office of Culture and Society (formerly Vice-Principal Office of Culture and Sports), with the participation of other public administration agents and civil society that form the pattern of momentum and strategic orientation of the Escola.
The diversity of perspectives, interdiscipline and availability to approach every area of knowledge mark the steps for choosing the topics and participants of the activities.
Under the title of Societats i cultures (Societies and cultures), the first EEPLV activities took off during the 2016-2017 academic year. Seminars and conferences to present avant-garde research on different areas will be there.
