Dates: 24th - 28th November 2025. Venue: University of Valencia. Title: “Volunteering in the promotion of the human rights of refugees”.

Are you interested in raising awareness of the human rights of refugees through communication? If you win this scholarship, you will learn how to create a social media content campaign and put this training into practice by designing and implementing a campaign with a social topic. Students from all FORTHEM partner universities other than the University of Valencia may apply.

This activity is carried out by EACNUR, the Spanish Committee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Programme of the week

• Day 1: Workshop (3h) with the facilitator of the Spanish Committee of UNHCR (morning) and film forum with UV Volunteers
• Days 2 and 3: Teamwork with the tutoring of the facilitator and the coordinator in Valencia of the Spanish Committee of UNHCR.
• Day 4: Event with presentation, sharing and exchange of experiences with UV volunteer groups.

Funding
There are six FORTHEM scholarships to cover part of your travel, accommodation and living costs.
