The Nau Gran Choir Club, directed by Mònica Perales i Massana, will open the registration period for the auditions for new voices on 5 September 2022. Candidates will have to pass an admission exam in an individual audition, for which it is not necessary to have previous musical training.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, the Choir Club will hold a weekly rehearsal on Wednesdays from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., from 5 October 2022 to 14 June 2023, except for holidays and/or non-teaching days in the Campus of Blasco Ibáñez.
REGISTRATION
The registration period will start at 10 a.m. on 5 September 2022.
To sign up for the auditions, please fill in the corresponding registration form for male or female voices, depending on the case. A maximum of 60 applicants will be admitted to the auditions (30 applicants for female voices and 30 applicants for male voices), which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If more applications are received, they will be placed on a waiting list in case any of the previous applicants withdraws. This waiting list will be cancelled at the end of the selection process.
IMPORTANT: A GMAIL ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED TO FILL OUT THESE FORMS. THESE FORMS WILL NOT WORK UNTIL SEPTEMBER 5, 2022 FROM 10:00 AM.

Those admitted to take the entrance exam to the Nau Gran Choir Club, will receive by e-mail a personal summons for their individual audition, indicating the specific place, day and time for the audition, which will consist of:
- A vocalisation/warm-up.
- Singing an excerpt from a choral piece, which will be sent to the candidates in advance.
VACANCIES OFFERED
The preferred distribution of vacancies will be a maximum of:
SOPRANO: 6 vacancies available
CONTRALTO: 2 vacancies available
TENOR: 6 vacancies available
BASS: 6 vacancies available
This distribution may vary according to the criteria of the selection board.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES
- Age required: people over 55 years-old.
- Musical studies: it is not necessary to have any musical training.
- Pass the audition.

- Academic recognition for Nau Gran students (6 Nau Gran credits) for regular attendance at a minimum of 80% of the activities of the Nau Gran Choir Club for the entire 2022-2023 academic year (1st, 2nd and 3rd terms).
