In conjunction with the exhibition Manuela Ballester: Painting against all odds

The artist and performer Lucía Peiró has created this piece, based on Ballester’s attitude throughout her life, encompassing a constant resignation, adaptation and submerged pain. The performance, which lasts approximately 18 minutes, attempts to establish a relationship between the body and the object through Peiró’s actions. It also attempts to take poetic expression to its extreme, filling the space with the intention of transforming the context.
