Cabanyal Horta, CSOA l’Horta Benimaclet and El Punt, Espai De Lliure Aprenentatge are three Valencian projects whose shared characteristic is cultural self-management. These types of initiatives are configured as instances of active participation that ensure the full exercise of the cultural rights of the communities or neighbourhoods in which they are implemented. Neighbours are protagonists, responsible for and collaborators in programming the contents offered by these spaces, whose activities are often linked to concepts such as agroecology, democracy, sustainability or memory.
