Appreciation for Manuela Ballester's study on the textile work of the indigenous people of Mexico. A constant throughout her exile, reflected in the exhibitions in Berlin (1963 and 1965) and Dresden (1965), until her collection was donated in 1982 to the Museo Nacional de Cerámica y Artes Suntuarias González Martí.
