The research group TRESOR of the Universitat de València has the objective of contributing to the development of the Geography of Tourism, especially in aspects linked to resilience and spatial planning. Particularly, the research is focused on the management of touristic spaces from a wide perspective —constructed and natural, cultural and intangible resources, etc.— to the impact of climate change in touristic destinations at different territorial touristic models, with special attention to the urban and rural spaces, territorial marketing, the indicators of sustainability design, etc. The focus of the TRESOR research is aimed at the territory. Therefore, the local environment and social and environmental development are a priority. In this sense, the Valencian Community is the object of the stuy, but not exclusively. The group counts on a wide experience of studies linked to Economical, Rural and Urban Geography. Besides the touristic activity, other topics of interest for the research group are the ones related to climate risks, the social capital, and geographic data, etc.
