The members of the research group are part of the department of Geography and History of the Universitat de València. They collaborate with other experts from disciplines such as History, History of Art,  Economy, Sociology, etc., as well as collaborating with other research groups with similar topics in other universities, both Spanish and worldwide.

The research projects and agreements carried out by the group's members cover from aspects such as the analysis of consolidated tourist spaces to the counsel of the enhancement of tourist resources locally.

The group presents a clear and coherent scientific identity, aligned with the great contemporary challenges of tourism and territory. Its combination of senior experience, emerging researcher projection, and strong applied guidance places it in a strategic position to lead competitive projects, international networks, and transfers of knowledge in the field of sustainable tourism and territorial development.
