In this work, more than two hundred taxa of fungi and lichens are described and photographed from the l'Albufera Natural Park, some of which are found only in this protected area throughout the Valencian Community. The work contains, in a simple and enlightened way the knowledge, hitherto dispersed, on this important component of the biodiversity, contributing to the valuation and appreciation on the part of the citizens of our natural patrimony.

The authors of the book, published by the City Council of Valencia, are members of the Valencian Mycological Society, of the service Devesa-Albufera of the city council, of the CEAM and Violeta Atienza of the Universitat de València.

The book has been published by the Council of Patrimoni I cultural resources of the City Council of Valencia and is now available at the Municipal bookstore (City Hall Square) and in numerous bookstores in the city. ISBN: 978-84-9089-138-4.
