What do we offer?
- Teacher and research training. The Salusex team, made up of some twenty researchers, has more than 30 years of collective experience in teaching, investigation and intervention. In addition, the team is currently launching three expert groups and a Master’s programme to train psychology professionals in the field of sexual health.
- Sexual health support and education. This group works to promote a normalised affective-sexual life, mitigate fears, and encourage the acquisition of accurate and adequate knowledge, attitudes, and abilities needed to address the sexuality of different groups through:
- Affective-sexual education programmes. Our work as investigators allows us to cultivate practical affective-sexual education programmes that are adapted to the needs and characteristics of the population for which it is designed (children, adolescents, people with functional diversity, etc.).
- Training courses for teachers Training for professionals in different fields in the attitudes, knowledge, and abilities needed to provide a quality affective-sexual education to the groups with which they work (adolescents, persons with intellectual functional diversity, etc.).
- Online chats for parents and/or professionals. Short educational sessions that make an initial approach to the very specific aspects and issues of sexual and emotional health and the unique needs of different groups.
- Courses for parents Training for parents and guardians on sexual and emotional health with adapted content based on the specific characteristics (age, autonomy, etc.) of their children with the goal of providing suitable affective-sexual education in the home.
- Psychological Diagnoses.
- Psychological support. Psychological support is offered to the university community and to those outside the university for any problem or issue related to sexuality, such as sexual dysfunction, orientation or identity, sex/porn addiction, paraphilia, sexual dissatisfaction, etc..
