The IPRODES group at the University of Valencia announces the release of the second season of the podcast Tota llengua fa paret. This project, developed by group member Professor Rafael Castelló as part of the course "Sociological Analysis of Linguistic Relationships and Uses" in the Sociology degree, represents an innovative educational experience that combines academic rigor with accessible outreach.
The podcast, created by students, explores topics in the sociology of language with a special focus on the Valencian context. Each episode is the result of collaborative work in which students research, synthesize, and communicate sociological knowledge in a clear and engaging way. This initiative not only enriches participants' learning but also contributes to the transfer of knowledge to society.
The project aligns with Michael Burawoy’s vision of public sociology, which advocates for a discipline engaged in social dialogue and transformation. By publishing the podcast, students become active agents of outreach, making academic knowledge accessible to a broader audience and fostering a critical and informed citizenry.
The second season, corresponding to the 2024–2025 academic year, is now available on Spotify and iVoox. We invite you to listen to the new episodes and share this educational and sociological experience with your networks.
