Carmen Uriol Egido is a Doctor of Financial and Tax Law from the University of Oviedo, with an extraordinary award, and a Lecturer at the Universitat de València. She has previously held research positions at the universities of Bologna, Bergamo, Turin and Austral de Buenos Aires. Her areas of expertise include tax procedures, the rights and guarantees of the taxpayer, precautionary measures to ensure the collection of tax debt and the application of the European Agreement on Human Rights in tax matters.
She has collaborated on several research contracts with the Institute of Fiscal Studies.
She is the author of eight books and book chapters, as well as 25 papers in specialist journals on taxation. She has acted as an external advisor with several firms through the Technical Office of Research Results of the Universitat de València.
