On Wednesdays 8 May at 11:30h in the classroom 037 of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universitat de València, the research team ETICCs holds the “Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty (ITP ans AJD): Problematic issues”.

The session will be held by Sonia Díaz Español, current director of the Valencian Tax Agency, who will share her specialist perspective about the most relevant controversies raised by the Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty (ITP and AJD). This tax figure continues creating important doctrinal debates and interpretative challenges that affect both the administrative practice and the notarial, registry and judicial activity.

Alfredo García Prats, Professor of Financial and Tax Law in the Universitat de València and member of the group ETICCs will accompany her as moderator. His participation will contribute to the dialogue between the technical-legal view and the institutional application of the tax in the Valencian Community.

This event is part of the compromise of the group ETICCs to promote the critical and multidisciplinary analysis of the contemporary taxation, paying special attention to the normative and practical challenges that tax systems face in changing environments.
