Professor María Jesús García García, director of the ‘Jean Monnet Module. Citizens’ integration into EU democracy’, will give this lecture in Cullera on 7 March.

The conference will take place in the Municipal Auditorium of Cullera on 7 March, at 7:00 p.m.

Mª Jesús García, Tenured University Professor of Administrative Law at the Universitat de València, will focus on explaining the political and democratic rights that we have as European citizens. Moreover, her speech aims to promote citizen involvement and participation, disseminating the community perspective of European citizens as a way of contributing to ‘making Europe’ by creating a sense of identity and belonging to a political community.

This lecture is part of the ‘Jean Monnet Module. Citizens’ integration in EU democracy’, and has been organised by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society, the Cullera City Council, the Valencian Provincial Council and Caixa Popular, within the framework of the UniSocietat programme.
