The participation of Mª Jesús García, head of the module, will consist of two conferences the days 29 and 31 January de 2025.
The event, The Second Annual Congress FORTHEM, Second FORTHEM Annual Conference - Connecting Worlds of Science and Society,will take place the days 29, 30 and 31 January 2025 online.
In this edition will highlight the vital role of science in advancing a sustainable, inclusive and innovative future for all. Furthermore, it will be shown the efforts of the FORTHEM Alliance to connect science and society through initiatives of divulgation motivated by the scientific community.
Mª Jesús García Garcia, director of Jean Monnet Module Citizens´integration into EU democracy (101047164– CitEUdem), will give two conferences, in the thematic session ofShaping the future through digital transformation:

Is it necessary to codify deliberative democracy in the framework of EU democracies in the digital era?
The professor María Jesús García already collaborates with the laboratory Digital Transformation of the FORTHEM alliance coordinated by the Universitat de València to develop the line of investigation that is taking place in the framework of the Jean Monnet Module for Citizens’ integration into European Union Democracy (101047164 – CitEUdem) (link to the new about the beginning of the collaboration, 2023).
