MethBrane is a project aiming to use dissolved methane generated in water treatment facilities. If not retrieved, this methane is release to the environment and contributes to climate change. Our idea is to sequester is in an efficient and sustainable way.

How can we do it?
We are developing special, resistant and superhydrophobic membranes that can separate methane from water without polluting it of losing efficiency. We also produce them with sustainable processes using green solvents.

What can it be used for?
With MethBrane, water treatment facilities can retrieve methane and use it as energy source while also reducing its emission, creation cleaner facilities that respect the climate.
