The Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library at the University of Valencia is home to the Paraula Viva cultural and social project, inspired by Human Libraries, with the aim of turning the library into a living space for memory, active listening, and community rebuilding.

The first edition of Paraula Viva is dedicated to the DANA of October 29, 2024, and its victims. Through encounters between “human books” and readers, a living archive of testimonies will be created that address loss, resilience, and solidarity around a meteorological event that profoundly transformed the life of the Valencian Community.

Next Thursday, November 13, Paraula Viva will feature the testimony of Mariló Gradolí, president of the Association of Victims of the October 29th DANA.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hall of the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library.
