- Pathophysiological aging processes. Search for the effectiveness and use of new techniques for prevention, training, rehabilitation, and physiotherapeutic treatment of pathophysiological processes related to aging.
- Health and social assistance to the elderly. Social-health strategies related to the physiotherapeutic treatment of the elderly.
- Physiotherapy in musculoskeletal conditions of the elderly. Evidencing the effects and key aspects such as the cost-utility ratio of new proposals for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with the aim of optimizing effectiveness and recovery times, and optimizing resources.
- Osteoarthritis. The research group allocates a considerable part of its resources to this field.
- Use and development of new technologies in rehabilitation and aging. In which we are actively working with funded projects.
