The Department of Prehistory, Archaeology and Ancient History of the University of Valencia (UV) has organised, in collaboration with the Spanish Department of the British College La Cañada (BCLC), a day of interactive workshops on Prehistory and Archaeology to give primary school students a first-hand insight into the intricacies of archaeological sciences and the way of life of our ancestors.
The event took place on Friday 22 March at the BCLC's own facilities. The students were able to make their own cardial ceramics, dive into water tanks in search of archaeological remains, assemble human skeletons

The Principal Rosario Palau (BCLC), the Head of Primary Sarah Nowell (BCLC), and the coordinator of the day, Domingo C. Salazar (UV), have described the event as a resounding success and are committed to continue collaborating again between both centres in the organisation of this type of educational and informative events in the near future.
