He has studied the collection of dyes from the sites of Rambla Perea (Mula, Murcia) dated to the Upper Palaeolithic, in collaboration with J. Zilhão (Univ. Lisboa), J. Zapata (Univ. in collaboration with J. Zilhão (Univ. Lisboa), J. Zapata (Univ. Murcia) and A. Pitarch (Univ. Barcelona).
