Developing Healthy and Egalitarian Adolescent Relationships

DARSI (Developing Healthy and Egalitarian Adolescent Relationships) is an intervention programme developed by the BIPSIA Research Group.

Objectives

The programme focuses on the prevention of peer and intimate partner violence in adolescents. It is designed to be implemented in educational contexts (compulsory secondary education).

Funding

The programme was developed (and its effectiveness evaluated) as part of the research project ACIF/2015/198 ‘Intervention in school and intimate partner violence in adolescents,’ funded by the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Valencian Government (VALi+d Programme).

  • Seminar given by Laura Carrascosa at the University of Algarve (Portugal), describing the contents and characteristics of the programme, in collaboration with Saúl Neves de Jesús, Full Professor of Psychology of the University of Algarve. January 2018.
  • Teacher training course (20 hours) through the SFP (Staff Development Service) of the Universitat de València, given by Laura Carrascosa and María Jesús Cava and titled ‘Creating classrooms based on healthy and egalitarian relationships,’ describing the contents and characteristics of the programme. July 2018.
