On 16 and 17 September 2022, the 7th International Workshop on Research in Enterpreneurship GEM- ACEDE was held at the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia. The motto of the event was “Next-Generation Entrepreneurship: accelerating global transformation”. Not only did we participate in its organisation, but we also presented papers

Moreover, we attended technical sessions given by international experts, such  Thomas Schott (professor at the University of Southern Denmark), Alicia Coduras Martínez (Technical Director of the GEM Saudi Arabia Project) or  Herman Aguinis (Professor of Business Management at the George Washington University School of Business, and President of the Academy of Management).

We attended, panel discussions, such as the one titled “Female entrepreneurs: challenges and opportunities in the context of reconstruction and the climate crisis”, with the participation of exemplary women, such as Regina Monsalve, a scientifist who has won numerous awards, including Woman of the Year at the Premios Agro.

The event could not have ended any better. We enjoyed a boat ride on the Albufera, passing by the ‘Tancat de la Pipa’ and finished with a full belly thanks to a nice plate of authentic Valencian paella in the port of Catarroja.
