ACRAM Scale
Currently, risk diagnosis is approached in a fragmented and inconsistent manner, since only certain aspects of risk are evaluated (for example, only parental variables), and the reports among professionals are sometimes very different in format, length and diagnostic severity or absence/presence of protective factors.
After a rigorous study of current tools, a group of teachers and researchers from different areas of knowledge such as Social Work, Psychology, Geography, Education and Engineering linked to the Luis Amigó Chair of the University of Valencia, found large psychometric gaps due to the absence of information on most of the psychometric properties of the current instruments for measuring child risk and lack of protection.
Given this scenario, the Luis Amigó Chair of the University of Valencia, in collaboration with the Amigó Foundation, has developed DAP 360º, a unique tool for the diagnostic evaluation of situations of risk and lack of protection in childhood and adolescence. It allows data to be connected in real time and several professionals to evaluate simultaneously.
DAP 360º aims to overcome these complications and provide a psychometrically validated risk diagnostic tool that covers all aspects of maltreatment, including environmental risks and protective factors in order to support professional judgment.
