Information sessions for RCCH-UV 2025 programme

The Real Colegio Complutense in collaboration with Universitat de València has announced the 2025 call for scholarships and research programmes for professors, researchers and doctoral programme students. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to work on research projects in the renowned Harvard University and its affiliated institutions.

An informative session on the call is scheduled on next 25 February 2025 at 12:00pm in the Assembly Hall of the Office of the Principal. The session will be led by PDI (teaching and research staff) and PI (research personnel) of Universitat de València as well as students from the Doctoral School and those who presented their doctoral thesis in the UV the last two academic years.

The Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard (RCCHU) announced the opening of the 2025 call of grants to promote academic excellence and the exchanged between Harvard University and Spanish institutions such as Universitat de València. The call brings relevant changes aiming to increase its impact and reach.

The amounts in the scholarships are higher to guarantee the best financial aid.
This is due to RCCHU’s commitment with providing the best research and academic environment to run internationally relevant projects in one of the most outstanding centres in the world.

A new support modality has been added: pre-doctoral scholarships for Universitat de València’s Doctoral School students only. Aiming to promote training and research in doctoral students of the institution in strategic interest areas, providing accessibility to resources and collaboration networking with Harvard University.

RCCHU keeps its goal to enhance cultural and academic transference and strengthen and deepen the bonds between Spain and the United States. The call will close on 30 April 2025. Programmes’ mention of honor

   Post-Doctoral RCCHU Scholarships 2+2

Two years in Harvard University ($72,000 per year) and two years in Universitat de València. Requires: recent thesis, minimum score of 100 in Test of English as Foreign Language and J-1 visa. 100 puntos) y visado J-1.
Applicants must have Spanish nationality or belong to the Schengen Area with certificate permanent residence in Spain. Incorporation will be on 1 September compulsorily. Deadline: 15 April 2025.

•    Long Term Research Stays

Between 2 and 6 months for PDI in Universitat de València with a Harvard University invitation. The stay won’t start before 1 September 2025 nor end after 31 July 2026.
Deadline: 15 April 2025.

•    Short Stay Scholarships

Between 1 and 6 weeks with $2500 funding. Applications are open all year but must be completed at least 3 months before the stay. 3 meses antes de la estancia). Invitation letter is mandatory.

•    Non-funding short stays
One month stays for doctoral students and professors without funding. Applications are open all year.

•    New Predoctoral Scholarships

Between 3 and 5 months with a $3000 funding per month for doctoral students without international transportation funding from their home universities, as long as it is compatible with other international transportation grants. The stay won’t start before 1 September 2025 nor end after 31 July 2026. Applicants must have Spanish nationality or belong to the Schengen Area with certificate permanent residence in Spain.
