- Seifert XRD 3003 TT Diffractometer, Temperature Chamber
The use of a special collimator, together with the arrangement of the X-ray tube in 'Single Point' configuration, allows the radiation to be focussed on a spot of 0.6-0.8 mm.
Thanks to this, and to the possibility of programming the movement of the table on which the sample is placed, it is possible to acquire diffractograms on several parts of the same sample.

The MRI Temperature Chamber allows a strict control of both temperature and working atmosphere. By means of the low temperature accessory, it is possible to work between -190 and 450 °C, using liquid N2 as a coolant. In the high-temperature accessory, on the other hand, it is possible to carry out experiments up to 1600 °C in an oxidising atmosphere and up to 2000 °C in an inert atmosphere.
