What do we offer?

Services

  • We give and develop courses and seminars in person and online, regulated or à la carte, on various subjects related to our experience and field of action.
  • We disseminate and make public our activity and results continuously and through different media, such as the International Congress that we organise every year (CLUSTERING).
  • We develop a strong networking with other national research clusters of the UJI, UPV, UA or UCLM and international clusters such as the Iberoamerican Network MOTIVA.

Transfer

1. Omic Technologies

We offer support to any R+D+i project that requires the use of omics technologies (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.) for the experimental approach to complex biological problems by means of massive analysis techniques. We also offer help in the interpretation of the data and their possible application to the resolution of the problems posed in the projects. We pay special attention to the analysis of microbiomes in different human, animal or environmental niches.

2. IBISBA DCO Service. Design, dynamic control and optimisation of biocircuits.

We have extensive experience in mathematical modelling, design, optimisation and control of synthetic gene regulatory circuits. In the context of IBISBA (Industrial Biotechnology Innovation and Synthetic Biology Accelerator) we provide software tools and advice for the design of biocircuits with high-level target functions or tasks (biosensors, bioswitches, dynamic biocontrollers, etc.) for biotechnology and metabolic engineering applications, including the development of mathematical models and (on-demand) simulation tools, model-based control and global optimisation.

Innovation

R+D+Y Contracted, mainly dedicated to the management of R+D+Y and related activities carried out within the framework of art. 83 of the LOU (Organic Law on Universities). It includes the negotiation, drafting, review, invoicing and legal-administrative monitoring of contracted R+D+Y activities and related legal business.

International R+D+E, dedicated to promoting and managing the participation of UV researchers in the different European R+D+Y initiatives (Horizon Europe, COSTE, LIFE, etc.) and, in general, of an international nature, through the different sources of funding available. It also carries out actions to promote and stimulate participation in international research programmes considered strategic for the UV.

Innovation and Valorisation is mainly dedicated to the valorisation of research capacities and results for their effective transfer to the productive fabric, either through their licensing to companies and other entities, or through the creation of Technology Based Companies (TBCs). This section also deals with the management of intellectual and industrial property rights derived from research activity, the management of the UV's own aid programme in the part dedicated to the valorisation and transfer of technology.
