Our research activity will consist of the development of the following lines of research:
- Research related to information systems and documentation. It includes the design, development and evaluation of scientific information systems, such as databases, interoperable digital libraries and websites that enable access to information and knowledge, as well as the development of value-added products that support informed decision making.
- Analysis of the sharing of raw research data in the various areas of knowledge. It includes research related to raw data and its sharing in science.
- Scientific activity indicators. It includes research related to the evaluation of scientific activity and the provision of adequate information to improve public research policies.
- Social and health sciences. It includes research on health and wellbeing issues, such as sport or addictive behaviours, form a social, biological or psychological perspective.
- Develop Information and Documentation systems.
- Identify the needs and difficulties of researchers, information managers and science policy makers in sharing raw research data.
- Develop guidelines, tools and literacy campaigns to encourage widespread and standardised data sharing and re-use.
- Evaluation of scientific activity using bibliometric and altimetry indicators.
- Develop sociological and epidemiological studies aimed at improving well-being and quality of life.

Assessment of scientific activity and analysis of the sharing of raw research data in the health sciences.
- Bibliometrics and indicators of scientific activity
The main goal of this line is the development of bibliometric indicators useful in the evaluation of scientific activity that allow the easurement of research results and the performance of science, thus enabling public research policies to be better adapted.
- Socio-health studies and indicators
To contribute to the body of knowledge on human behaviour and social interaction by collecting data of interest from different social sectors and decision-makers in the public and private spheres, as well as from research personnel.
