Creativewear
1MED15-1.1-M2-036
This is a cross-border project carried out in Slovenia, Spain, Greece and Italy supports the revitalisation of the textile and clothing industry (T&C) on the northern Mediterranean coast.
CreativeWear extends the “Business Labs” model of the H2020 TCBL project to creative clusters in the MED space:
- Design Labs – ideation and conception
- Making Labs – customized materials and machines
- Place Labs – social, cultural and territorial
The project attempts to adapt the TCBL network model (which combines previous Labs) into existing creative clusters such as museums, creative centers, fashion schools, design centers, volunteer organizations, etc. applied to the T&C sector. For this, pilot projects have been carried out in 5 regions of the consortium, in which they aim to achieve synergies between different creative companies (design, architecture, marketing, ICTs, incorporating technological aspects.) and
In this way, CreativeWear established a network of centers in which the creative and T&C sectors jointly developed sustainable and high quality products that meet the requirements of today's customers.
Businesses and educational and non-profit organisations are using this flexible model to increase the proportion of new textile products and innovation in the T&C industry in Europe, while reducing the environmental impact of the sector.
