Description

The diagnostic capabilities of a psychophysical test for detection of visual losses improves when the number of mechanisms mediating the visual task is small.

After the encouraging results of project  (DPI2000-0116-P4-02), we develop, in collaboration with INDO, an industrial prototype of our double-modulation ATD perimeter. We measure the contrast sensitivity of normal subjects to derive a standard observer by age range and assess the diagnostic capabilities of the device in glaucomatous and ocular hypertense subjects.
