
The Turia 1 telescope is a 14 cm wide-field aperture refractor with a Robotic German Equatorial mount that can autonomously perform the observations programmed for it. It is located at the Aras de los Olmos Observatory.
14 cm aperture telescope, f/2.8 wide-field refractor: 3x4º.
Robotic German Equatorial mount, synchronised with the dome.
CCD data acquisition camera and autoguiding camera.
8-position filter wheel. Mountable filters: Johnson, SDSS, Stromgren, RGBL, Hα, OIII.
Photometry: measurement of the intensity of light radiated by celestial bodies and its variation over time (light curves).
Astrometry: measurement of the position of celestial bodies.
The facilities will be used by the support astronomers, who will be in charge of conducting the requested observations.
