Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS and the SEOFER Chair in Road Safety and Intelligent Mobility, has attended together with research team members the 11th Conference of the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon Europe.

This event, which for the first time after the pandemic has recovered its face-to-face format, took place on 6 April 2022 at the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia and was attended by speakers and researchers of the highest level in R+D+i.

The conclusions drawn from this event not only highlight the strength and capacity of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation system, but will also be extremely positive from a triple point of view: knowledge of the new opportunities that arise; the appropriate approach to ideas and the possibilities for improvement in the process of preparing future proposals.

The Conference has been organised by the CDTI (Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Commission, under the slogan "The new Horizon for Europe".
