An official Master's Degree is a postgraduate course validated in all the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) in which students must pass the processes regulated by the government and autonomous communities according to EHEA regulation frame.
An UV Specific Degree is regulated flexibly and in a more diverse fashion by Universitat de València, aimed to offer specific formation demanded by society. As long as laws and regulations allow it, the completion of these degrees can serve for professional activity permission.
ECTS stands for European Credits Transfer System. It's a system that meassures the duration of univeristy studies in several ways, like theoretical sessions attendance, practical projects elaboration or internships.
Each Credit represents 25 hours of dedicated work of the student. In UV Specific Degrees, 1 ECTS Credit represents 10 hours of teaching. For example, in a 3 ECTS Credit course, the student would receive 30 hours of teaching out of the 75 hours of work.
Universitat de València renews its UV Specific Degrees offer yearly. The offer includes: Permanent Education Master's Degree (60, 90 or 120 ECTS Credits), Specialistation Certification (between 30 and 59 ECTS Credits) and University Expert (between 15 and 29 ECTS Credits).

Universitat de València offers the following continuous education certification: Continuous Education Certification (15-30 ECTS Credits) and University Microcredentials (up to 15 ECTS Credits).

UV Specific Degrees are renewed yearly and do not allow studies recognition.
It is not possible except for modular Permanent Education Master's Degrees, which can be formed by Specialisation Certification or University Expert courses. In these cases, the enrolment may be complete or divided in different academic years.
In neither case they grant access to official doctorate programmes.

The preinscription for a UV Scpecific Degree can be found in each degree site. You can also print the Preinscription Form, complete and send it with all the documents required to informacion@adeituv.es or send it to: Fundació Universitat Empresa de València (Plaça de la Made de Déu de la Pau, 3 - 46001 València).

Certificate issuing fees are included in Continuous Education courses (Continuous Education Certification and University Microcredentials). However, they are not included in UV Specific Degrees enrolment fees.

You can divide enrolment fee payments if they are over 500 € worth and last longer than three months.
Four courses that take longer than two years, 50 % of the payment must be deposited during the first year enrolment process and the remaining 50 % during the second year enrolment process.
*It is required to provide a SEPA Bank Debit Order completed and signed (downloadable from the preinscription form).
*The first payment is always made by the students using the process provided during the admission. The next payments are made with the Bank Debit Order.
*Non-payment cases will nullify the enrolment with no right for refund.
Students won't receive refunds after the first day of class. I case of single payment and if the student cancels their enrolment before the first day of class, they will receive a two thirds refund after their request. In case of divided payment, they will receive any deposited amount over one third of the total enrolment fee.
Cancelling the enrolment after the start of classes grants no right for refunding except for medical reasons or bankruptcy of the family unit, both properly documented.
Generalitat Valenciana doesn't provide payment exemptions or discounts for UV Specific Degrees or Continuous Education courses.
Yes, as long as the studies organisation offers them. The internships may be a part of the course curriculum (curricular), in which case every student must complete them; or they may be an additional complement to the programme (extracurricular), in which case, students don't have to complete them. Internship hours maximum is 900 hours.

Yes, there must exist an agreement between Universitat de València and the company or institution the student will have their internship in. The agreement is managed by ADEIT, València University-Company Foundation. They will require the basic data on internship activity and signature of the student, the company tutor and University tutor signature.
The administration of each course provides its evaluation specifics.
In any case, the student must pass every subject of the course according to the subject guidelines.
Certificate can only be requested after the end of the course and scores are registered in Universitat de València. The student will receive the instruction for obtaining their certificate.
The final qualification of UV Specific Degrees is the average score of every subject including the Final Master's Degree Project (TFM) is included in the course.
Continuous Education courses only provide Pass or Fail qualifications.
Universitat de València certificate are issued by the Principal according to regulation and is registered in the University. The certificate mention they don't hold official value.
