The EFICO group carries out research, innovation and transfer activities within the university framework, which allows access to the equipment and resources available at the Universitat de València and those provided by the various collaborating institutions and/or sponsors.

Each year EFICO organises the Conference on Sustainability in the Framework of Higher Education where researchers, teachers and students find a forum to exchange enriching experiences in the fields of research, teaching and transfer.
