Grazia Accetta

Grazia Accetta, activist, graduated in Pedagogy and Philosophy with a thesis on the relationship between the Mafia and Fascism in Sicily. A teacher of Italian and history, trade unionist and expert on school issues, she has always been concerned about human rights and, in particular, women's rights, and has actively participated in hundreds of political and educational events and projects. In the years 2012-2016, she generously collaborated as a volunteer in the political project of change from below carried out by Mayor Renato Accorinti in the city of Messina, Sicily, giving body and soul to the attempt to renew the administrative machine. A sensitive ecologist, she is a living example of active and responsible citizenship.

Grazia Accetta, attivista, si è laureata in Pedagogia e Filosofia con una tesi sui rapporti tra la mafia e il fascismo in Sicilia. Docente di italiano e storia, sindacalista e competente di problematiche scolastiche, attenta da sempre ai diritti umani e, in particolare, a quelli delle donne, ha partecipato attivamente a centinaia di manifestazioni e progetti politici ed educativi. Negli anni 2012-2016  ha collaborato generosamente come volontaria al progetto politico di cambiamento dal basso portato avanti dal sindaco Renato Accorinti nella città di Messina, in Sicilia, dando anima e corpo al tentativo di rinnovazione della macchina amministrativa. Sensibile ecologista, è un esempio vivente di cittadinanza attiva e responsabile.
