Vigo, 18 June 2025. Aula Empresocial team was present at the 8th International Congress of Social Economy – EESCOOP 2025 that took place in Vigo on 12 and 13 June
This edition gathers experts and professionals of social economics from national and internationa levels and becomes a key space for knowledge, experience and proposal transference for the future in this sector.
During the congress, three members of Aula Empresocial presented their sessions focusing on the main challenges and opportunities agro-food cooperative shops face nowadays:
- Andrea Rey presented the 'Aplicació del model JD-R en cooperatives agroalimentàries per a un relleu generacional exitós' ('Implementation of the JD-R Model in Agro-food Cooperative Shop for a Successful Generational Take Over') session in which analysed how focusing on resources and job demand can ease the incorporation of new generations in these entities.
- Antonia Sajardo presented his reflection 'El camí de la dona en les cooperatives agroalimentàries espanyoles' ('The Way of the Woman in Spanish Agro-food Cooperative Shops') on advancements and challenges women face in their participation and leadershop within this company model.
- Teresa Puchol presented 'Implicacions de la proposta BEFIT en la tributació de les cooperatives' ('Implication of the BEFIT Proposal for the Cooperative Shops Taxation') and explored possible new effects of the new european frame of company imposition with these social economy entities.
The participation of Aula Empresocial in such important forum displays its comittment with research, cooperativism promotion and support for a fairer, more inclusive and sustainable economy.
