The event took place on 14 June 2023 in Valencia.

On 14 June 2023, the Entrepreneurship Classroom in Social and Sustainable Economy (Aula Empresocial) 

and FECOVI organised a conference on collaborative housing at their CONVOCAL headquarters. This was part of their grants funded by the Valencian Government destined towards promoting, expanding and educating in social economics in the Valencian Community. During this session, an open round table was celebrated as a debate between technicians and attendees to share their experiences related to the Collaborative housing law and its correlation with the Cooperatives law. This round table was composed by experts such as Blanca Jiménez, sub-secretary of the 2nd Vice-president Office and acting Counsellor of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture of the Valencian Government; Cristina Grau López, lawyer expert in cooperative law, FCG Advocats associate and La Dinamo member; Pilar Agutzil Martí, lecturer of financial and tax law at the Universitat de València; and Silvia Puig Mengual, FECOVI and CONCOVAL Judicial Area lawyer.

The conference was very interesting and created a discussion about the current state of collaborative housing, its limitations and the necessary improvements in order to move forwards.
