Foios, 15 May 2025 – This morning at IES F. Badía de Foios took place the end of the first educational cycle of 'Emprender por la Economía Social' ('Entrepeneurship for he Social Economy'), an initiative by Aula Empresocial – UVemprén and funded by Generalitat Valenciana.
The event was very well received with excelent student participation. This conference ends the cycle which has visited many educational centres of Valencian Community in 2025 to bring the values of social, sustainable and cooperative entrepeneurship to students.
During the conference in Foios, Pilar Alguacil (UV) brought a session title 'Què significa emprendre per economia social?' ('What is entrepeneurship for social economy?'). Then Helga Figueroa (Centro Canino Koira) and Mati (La Huerta Ubuntu Coop. V.) shared their entrepeneur careers with the students.
The conference closed with an interactive activity about social economy by Andrea Rey to promote active participation of students on challenges and values of collective entrepeneurship.
This conference ends the cycle of excellent reception among the visited centres and students, making EmprendreES an educative proposal of great impact in the promotion of entrepeneurship culture and social committment.
