The event took place on 22 September 2023 in the Tarongers Campus.
The Aula de Emprendimiento en Economía Social y Sostenible (AulaEmpresocial) of the Universitat de València, UVemprén and the Diputación de Valencia celebrate their sixth conference of the axis of social economy in the 5th cycle 'Jornadas sobre Economía Social y Nuevos Modelos Sostenibles' ('Conference on Social Economy and New Sustaiable Models') along the territory of the Valencian province.
This conference, which took place at the TarongersCampus of the Univeristat de Valéncia on 22 September, was focused on social economy. Antonia Sajardo, full professor of Applied Economics and member of AulaEmpresocial has taught a lecture on what is social economy and the companies that use it. Likewise, Pilar Alguacil, professor of Financial Law and director of Aula Empresocial has taught a conference exposing how to be an social economy entrepeneur focusing on cooperatives ans co-ops. To close the event, atendees have been able to discover a social company and how it works thanks to Helga Figueroa who has explained the activities of Centro Canino Koira (Koira Canine Centre).
