
The Real Colegio Complutense (RCC) of Harvard University hosts from June 19 to 23, 2023 a training program that seeks to position university faculty as a catalyst for entrepreneurship in higher education.
On June 19, 2023, Universitat de València will inaugurate at the Real Colegio Complutense (RCC) of Harvard University the training program of teaching specialization in entrepreneurship at the Universitat de València. The inauguration will be attended by Ms. Ana Durán de la Colina, Consul General of Spain in Boston, and Dr. Daniel Pablo de la Cruz Sánchez Mata, Director of the RCC. The program is part of the actions promoted by UVemprén, the entrepreneurship unit of the University of Valencia, and is led by the Vice Rectorate for Lifelong Learning, Teaching Transformation and Employment, and the Vice Rectorate for Innovation and Transfer.
With this commitment to teaching transformation in higher education, the Universitat de València strengthens its strategy as an entrepreneurial university, training not only students but also its faculty. The training will include theoretical and practical sessions with experts in entrepreneurship, humanistic leadership and innovation such as Karen E. Bohlin, Director of the Practical Wisdom Project of the Abigail Adams Institute, Susan E. Major, Founder of ilya labs, or Benyamin B. Lichtenstein, Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at UMass Boston. In addition, the program will include visits to Boston's entrepreneurial ecosystem. This initiative has been organized by UVemprén with the collaboration of the Institute for Ethics in Communication and Organizations (IECO) and the IECO-UV Chair of Business Ethics, and is sponsored by Banco Santander through the Campus UVemprén.
