The awards of the 1st edition of ToxiCOIL, aimed at students from Universitat de València, Universidad de Cartagena (Colombia) and University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca (Romania), have the aim of providing participants with the opportunity to develop intercultural skills, work in international teams, improve technological learning skills, provide the opportunity to students participating in this programme to acquire international training in toxicology to generate challenges that may have a business or entrepreneurial output, that are innovative and allow projecting Food Safety solutions from toxicology and health sciences areas, acquire new experiences and establish contacts through their participation in specific training activities in entrepreneurial skills.

The participants, after receiving specific cross-curricular training, will work as a multicenter team to generate a challenge within an innovative project focused on food safety, toxicology, environment or nutrition. Projects will be eligible for the following awards:

• A first prize of 700 €
• Two runner-up prizes (2nd and 3rd) of 350 €

In addition, up to a maximum of 600 € in gift vouchers will be distributed among all participating teams whose projects are considered SUITABLE.
