Professional profile of the recipients
University professors interested in improving their teaching practice through micro-assesment strategies and continuous feedback. Especially aimed at professors who wish to optimize their formative assessment in face-to-face or practical environments and promote more reflective and participatory teaching
Selection criteria

Participants will be selected according to the following criteria:
- For those courses that have specific requirements, it must be verified that the applicants actually meet them.
- Preference will be given to requests from applicants who have not taken courses with similar characteristics in the last three years.
- Likewise, preference will be given to those who have not participated in any training courses in the last three years.
- In the event of a tie between applicants when applying the above criteria, strict adherence to the order of submission of the applications (date and time of submission) will be required.

Training objectives

1.    Understand the fundamentals and benefits of micro-assessment as a training tool.
2.    Identify brief and sustainable strategies to obtain useful information about student learning.
3.    5.    Use digital resources that facilitate the creation and improvement of formative assessment instruments.
Design and implement micro-assessment instruments adapted to the subject or professional context.
4.    Promote teacher reflection and continuous feedback.
 

Contents


1.    Concept and fundamentals of micro-assessment.
2.    Practical strategies: minute paper, muddiest point, comprehension traffic light, short checklist, mini-rubrics, 360º feedback.
3.    Examples applied to the university environment.
4.    Design and adaptation of micro-assessments to the teaching context itself.
5.    Practical activity: creation and review of short micro-assessments applicable to the teachers' subjects
6.    Digital tools to support the design and review of instruments (indicative use of ChatGPT or other platforms).
7.    Recommendations for integrating micro-assessment into the curriculum and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
