Designing and preparing materials is an important part of teaching. It is recommended that the subject co-ordination office facilitates their preparation, so that useful materials are produced for all students.

In addition, supplementary material can be prepared for content that cannot be covered in depth in the regular classroom.

There is a lot of material generated by the University's teaching staff that can be of great help. From text documents of notes and short videos, to recorded classes. You have here the available catalogue.

Remember that:

  • Summaries or outlines will provide students with a guide to the subject to be studied.
  • If the timing of the classes means that there is content in the teaching guide that cannot be dealt with in depth, the complementary material will be key.

Bibliography

Teaching staff can request that the bibliography of their subject be included in the TROBES catalogue. Contact the Libraries Service and request the inclusion in the catalogue of the recommendations for each subject.
In the Virtual Classroom, the space for each subject has a link to the bibliography recommended by the teaching staff in the catalogue.

The name of the teacher recommending is the criterion that can best define the subject-specific bibliography search.

From the Trobes catalogue the documents recommended by the teaching staff in their subjects can be retrieved. Search in the profile Bibliography by subject the terms of the query you are looking for.

On the other hand, teaching staff have specific electronic resources at their disposal in the Library Service to complete their bibliographic recommendations.
