This seminar is planned in compliance with the University's Equality Plan, which provides for the development of a culture of equality that breaks with stereotypes and roles and with everything symbolic that constructs inequality between women and men, and specifically in the action 58 that has guaranteed the activities planned for the promotion of equality and/or against male violence, consolidating in this line, the programme "The summer of women" within the International Centre of Gandia.
One third of women in the EU have been victims of physical or sexual violence. An average of 50 are murdered every week at the hands of their partners. And 75% admit to having suffered some form of harassment in the workplace. In this sense, we present a proposal for a course that makes us reflect on the future of European society and violence against women. Focusing also on this new war conflict that we are now experiencing.
