This seminar offers a reflexive approach to literature that has the landscape, urban or rural, as its protagonist. The literature of walkers, flâneurs, who gaze in wonder at the streets of their city or who are attracted by rural paths that are little or not at all travelled. If today both the city and the countryside are preferably spaces of consumption (of objects or experiences), even modifying the very act of walking under the logic of utility, some writers cling to the ideal of walking without anxiety, contemplating and involving themselves in their surroundings.
