The Departament Board of the department is integrated by:

•  All the teaching and research staff, who have the title of doctor, assigned to the department.

• A representation of the rest of the teaching and research staff, in the following way:

1. All those who have full-time dedication.
2. 50% of this part-time staff.

• 50% of the research personnel in training assigned to the department.

• A representation of the students who take courses of the different cycles and centers taught by the department, equal to half of the total of members of the first two sections.

• A representation of the administration and services personnel assigned to the department equal to one fifth of the total number of members of the first two sections.

The department council must be renewed every three years, except for the representatives of the students, whose term will be established in the general electoral Regulations. The vacants generated during this period will be replaced by the remaining time.
